Ten millimeters across the face, 1.85 grams for the pair. That is the short version of this stud: a full seven-stone flower of lab grown diamonds in solid 14K white gold that still sits light on the lobe.
The front is a 10MM flower: one lab grown diamond in the center and six arranged around it, with small round prong tips sitting in the gaps. Behind it is a small cage of curved white gold wires, each one bending up the side of the cluster to finish as one of those bead-tipped prongs. From the side, the flower does not sit flat on a plate. It rides on a rounded basket that lifts it slightly off the lobe, which gives the stud a little depth instead of reading like a sticker.
It is a more involved way to finish a stud, and it shows on the back, a side that is often left plain. The diamonds came out of a lab, not a mine. Other shapes and sizes are laid out across lab diamond earrings.
That 1.85-gram figure comes from the lab report photographed with the pair, which also lists the metal as 14K gold. Because only one size is offered, it is a good guide to the pair you order, not a number borrowed from a different size.
A screw back on fine jewelry deserves a light hand. Turn it until it stops and then leave it; forcing it past that point is what wears threads down over time. For a second hole, a smaller stud from the wider lab grown diamond jewelry range pairs well with a cluster in the first.
Can I sleep in them? It is better not to. The basket sits a little out from the lobe, and a pillow presses on it all night.
Will the white gold turn yellow over time? White gold is usually finished with a bright rhodium layer. After long wear that finish can soften and let a slightly warmer tone through; a jeweler can refresh it in one visit.
How does this differ from a silver cluster stud? The flower is the same idea; the difference is the metal. Here the setting itself is 14K gold, while a silver cluster has silver underneath its finish.
Is your jewelry real?
Yes. Most of our pieces are S925 sterling silver set with VVS moissanite. Our Lab Diamond line is set with real lab-grown diamonds instead. Some styles use brass with 18K gold plating. Check each product description for the exact material.
Are the stones real diamonds?
It depends on the line. Most of our jewelry is set with VVS moissanite, which is its own gemstone, not a diamond. Our Lab Diamond line is set with real lab-grown diamonds, chemically identical to mined diamonds. The product title and description tell you which one you are looking at, and our moissanite vs diamond guide breaks down how the stones differ.
Does the jewelry come with a certificate?
Most pieces ship with a gemstone certificate in the box. Where one is included, the issuing laboratory is named on that product's page, and the paperwork usually appears in the listing photos as well.
Will the jewelry fade?
Plating lasts longest when it stays dry, so take pieces off before swimming or showering, wipe them down after a heavy sweat, and store them in the jewelry pouch when not in use. Gold-plated styles are finished with multiple layers of plating for long-lasting shine, while sterling silver styles keep their natural finish.
