What does a third row of stones change on a band? More than width. With three rows of lab grown stones packed next to each other, the ring stops looking like a thin circle of sparkle and turns into a solid strip of it, wrapped around the finger on white-plated 925 sterling silver.
Laid like brickwork
The rows are not lined up stone for stone. The middle one is shifted by half a diamond, so each of its stones sits over the gap between two in the rows beside it, the way bricks are laid in a wall. There is a practical reason for that. Round stones set in a straight grid leave a wider gap where four of them meet; offset the middle row and each gap closes down to the small space between three. The band ends up denser with stone. You can check it in the close-up on orange fabric. Follow any diagonal and the diamonds fall into a straight line there too, just as they do along each row.
Tiny silver beads mark the tips of the prongs between the diamonds, scattered across the face like rivets in a pattern. Each one is small and rounded, which gives the surface a faintly pebbled look up close.

Is three rows too much for a slim finger? Not necessarily. In the photos it is worn on a slender hand as well as a broader one, and on both it covers more of the finger between the knuckles, which is the look it is built for. Coming from a narrow band, the main difference you will notice is contact, since a wider ring brushes the fingers on either side more often.
