The crown is where this piece starts: a ring of pear-shaped lab grown diamonds, their points turned outward like thorns, sitting above a face set almost entirely in smaller round stones. It is a Jesus piece sized to be the centerpiece of whatever you wear it with, about three inches tall.

Most of the pendant is covered in small round brilliants, packed close over the forehead, cheeks, beard and the long fall of hair. The crown breaks that pattern. Its pear cuts are larger and angled, so they stand out from the round stones around them and give the top edge a jagged outline instead of a smooth curve. A few features are left in polished metal rather than stones, chiefly the closed eyelids and the lips.
