Why the Bolt Sits High

This isn't a flat plate with a bolt printed on it. The shape is built up off the band, so both arms stand proud and throw a shadow between them. That's what keeps it reading as a bolt instead of a bright blob.

Moissanite With Paperwork

The stones are moissanite, not diamond, and we'd rather say it here than have you find out later. A GRA report comes with the ring; it grades the stones and says nothing about the metal.

Both are standard gemological figures. Dispersion is the fire, the colored flashes a stone throws as it moves, and moissanite's runs more than double diamond's. On a shape this angular that counts twice: every turn of the hand throws the flashes somewhere new.

Sizes run 7 through 12, and the plating comes in white gold, yellow gold or rose gold over the same sterling silver body. White keeps it cold and graphic, yellow warms the whole bolt, rose sits between the two.

How much of the finger does the bolt cover? It spans the full width of the finger and runs toward the knuckle on both sides. It's a statement ring, not a slim band, and it's meant to be noticed first.

Do the points catch on clothing? The tips are blunted rather than sharpened, so they sit against fabric instead of digging into it. A shape this raised will still find a sleeve occasionally, the way any large ring does.

Which plating should I pick? Match it to what you already wear. White disappears into a silver stack, yellow pairs with a gold moissanite chain, and rose gives you some of that warmth without going the whole way.

Can I stack it with other rings? Not on the same finger, it takes up too much room. On the next finger works well, and a plain band there keeps the bolt the only thing competing for attention. Same logic at the wrist: keep the bracelet simple.
