A diamond is usually set to show you its flat top. On this 15MM cuban link bracelet the diamonds, lab grown rather than mined, are turned over and set point up, a style known as an upside down or inverted setting. Look closely and each stone on the links is a small cone pointing up at you.
Stones turned the other way
A round brilliant is cut to send light back out through its table, the flat facet on top. Flip it and you see the other half instead: the pavilion, with its facets running down to a tip. Spread across a link, those tips read as texture, a scatter of small stars rather than a flat sheet of glitter. The stones on each link also vary in size, larger ones between smaller, so the pattern shifts from one link to the next. Face-up pave bracelets in other widths are in lab grown diamond bracelets.
The box clasp is where you can see both approaches at once. Its face and the two bands on either side of it are set the conventional way, table up. Look at the bracelet near the clasp and the bright, flat-topped stones sit right next to the pointed ones running off down the links. Will I feel the points? Expect to. Run a thumb across a link and it feels textured, not smooth the way a pave link does. With a loose-knit sweater, put the bracelet on last and take it off first.

Plating lasts longest when it stays dry, so take pieces off before swimming or showering, wipe them down after a heavy sweat, and store them in the jewelry pouch when not in use.
